Hi, I'm Paul Kelly, and I'm invested in Alaska because it's been a good home to my family for 3 generations. I grew up in Anchorage and came to Juneau to work as a legislative staffer intending to stay for one session. Since making Juneau my new home, I’ve lived in many different parts of our community; from downtown, to Switzer Village, Fritz Cove, and West Juneau..
Not only did I fall in love with Juneau, but I fell in love in Juneau. I met my wife five years ago during my first run for the Assembly. We’ve since built a home in Twin Lakes together; big enough for her and I, and her two growing boys. I’m starting my campaign for re-election just as we approach our first anniversary.
*When I ran for the Assembly in 2023, I knocked on 1975 doors to keep my campaign grounded in the people.
*Before I was even sworn in I started hosting office hours. Now people know they can find me in Assembly Chambers every Saturday from 10am-noon

I'm honored to serve my coworkers and state employees around Alaska. For most of my employment in classified service I've served on the Executive Board of my local chapter. I'm perhaps most proud of sitting across from Governor Walkers representatives in 2018 to negotiate a fair contract for thousands of state employees.
